Love Music Hate Racism Carnival

The carnival will include a huge array of talent across three stages representing the best of multicultural British music. Top of the bill so far are: Babyshambles; Tom Robinson; Hard Fi; Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly; UK reggae legend Dennis Bovell; Jay Sean; Poly Styrene and DJ Jerry Dammers (formerly of the Specials).

London is a multi-cultural city and proud of it! Feel free to bring your own food or sample the local offerings - goat curry anyone?

Acts already confirmed to play include Patrick Wolf, The Paddingtons, Roll Deep, Natty, Bishi, and Ace & Invisible Bashy, Snakeyman, Stylo G, Adelaide McKenzie, Lady NY, Metz n Trix, The Thirst, The Tribunes, Benga, Rugrat, Nihal and Heartless Crew.

Grammy Award-winning filmmaker and Clash collaborator Don Letts will be directing a documentary and live film of the event.

THE CARNIVAL IS IN VICORIA PARK BUT IT WILL BE DIFFICULT TO MEET THERE WITH SO MANY PEOPLE, SO WE'LL MEET AT TRALLY SQUARE THEN GO TOGETHER BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT.
